Most "leather" wallets are split-grain or bonded leather — cheap byproducts that look fine at first and then crack within a year. Full-grain is the top, intact layer of the hide. It's stronger, ages better, and develops a personal patina the longer you carry it.
Each leather hide is hand-selected and dyed in-house. Color varies subtly between units — that's the leather, not the dye.
